MOBILE DIRECTORY
The mobile directory is designed to run on the Apple iPhone, Google Android, and a variety of other handheld devices supporting a standard web interface. Users can search for professionals by name, location, distance, keywords, and special skills. They can browse through results with images and click to view details on any professional. Details include license status, education, membership history, address, website links, and personal quotes. Users can save professionals to a list or contact them through the interface.
WEBSITE DIRECTORY
The website directory provides the same search functionality as the mobile directory in a larger, web 2.0-enabled screen format. Slider controls, tabs, and AJAX-enabled widgets make the system quick and easy to use across a variety of the most popular browsers. There are two configuration options: integrated directly into your website or run as a standalone service. As an integrated solution the directory appears to be part of your website and results display within your website layout. As a standalone solution the system may be marketed under another URL and provides space for additional content to be supplied by your staff.
STAFF INTERFACE
The staff interface makes it easy for staff to manage your database directory from any internet connection. You can find and browse professionals, flag records, create lists, and import and export data. Records are easily updated and a system logs all changes. A variety of reports can be customized and run to learn how your directory is being used, and these can be turned into colorful charts or exported to Excel files with a click. Specific directory features can be enabled and disabled. User groups control access levels and limit staff to specific portions of the system. A detailed help interface and support link ensure a smooth experience.
DATABASE OF PROFESSIONALS
All three interfaces work from the same central database of professionals that is hosted on our servers. This ensures that changes made by staff are immediately reflected in the website and mobile user screens. We maintain nightly database backups and an offsite mirror to prevent data loss.
